The eye is the most susceptible organ to oxidative damage caused by light, toxins, atmospheric oxygen and abrasion. As ultraviolet and blue light pass through the retina to the photoreceptors (rods and cones) and the pigmented epithelial cells, reactive oxygen species (free radicals) are generated. If there are insufficient antioxidants available to neutralize free radicals, the eye undergoes excessive oxidative damage.

Before being diagnosed with hyperthiroidism, I noticed my eyesigth was deteriorating and had to wear my reading glasses more often. After I received the diagnosis of being hyper, I started taking Focus and although after 1 bottle I have not seen any improvement in better eyesight, I think I will continue taking it just to protect my eyes from future damage.
