oops forgot about the hotdogs, I occasionally eat the applegate farms beef hot dogs. I do not like the turkey dogs.  I just can’t get past the thought of eating hot dogs not being good for you, so I save them for special occasions, like camping and picnics. I don’t know maybe they are fine, but old habits are hard to break.

Rice milk would not be a good option for a true gluten free diet. If you are able to have cashews, I love cashew milk. It is very easy to make also. Just google it. I think it has the best flavor too. (more creamy)

    Best wishes,

I find the best source of fuel for me before workouts is an apple with almond butter.  I have also had luck with just plain old cooked eggs (boiled, fried in healthy oil, poached, scrambled etc.)  I don’t eat much fruit, but the apple and almond butter really work well for me. I also need to drink a lot of water!  I have noticed the better my diet and workouts the more water I require! :)

I really think you would need the sour of the vinegar in this recipe. (dlquandt is the name I used to go under, so it’s my recipe..LOL) I use Bragg’s apple cider vinegar

I think you could use lemon juice instead of fresh fruit. I use apple cider vinegar, with the mother (Braggs). It definitely has a different taste. I do not use regular vinegar because it is made from grains. You may be able to use honey in place of sugar, I find it substitutes very well for sugar. I think pickles would be hard to make taste the same without regular vinegar, but maybe try one batch and see how it turns out. I would taste the brine before using it. Also, for salt, I use sea salt for all of my canning and have no troubles.

AWESOME! I made this the other day and it is GREAT! My daughter said it tasted like it was made with cool whip. I used Elana’s pie crust because I love the nutty taste, it really went together well. My very fussy husband even liked it. I also cut up a bunch of strawberries and put them on the crust before I poured the filling on. No need for whipped cream on top perfect just the way it is!:Cool

It could be candida. When I was suffering with that the doctor told me to stay away from all vinegar except, unfiltered apple cider vinegar “with the mother”. I still follow those rules!

I would start a search for a new doctor! If you have a functional medicine doctor in your area that would be a good place to start. If not, I find Doctor’s with the title of D.O. as opposed to M.D. are more perceptive natural cures instead of just pumping medicine into you. I would NEVER allow someone to speak to me that way. If they don’t respect you, how can you respect them? Best wishes, I hope you can find yourself some new enlightened Doctors!

It is DQ 8, but I don’t remember all of the specifics. Dr. O and some of the others will help you out with that. but, I do know it is an 8. sounds like a gluten free diet is in order. You have found a good place for support!

When you guys do the no poo thing, do you mix it up ahead of time in a bottle or do you mix it each time you do your hair. It sounds like a pain to have to mix it every time. Do you mind sharing exactly how you do it. I’ve read it online and am seriously considering this as I have little pimples that turn into sores that do NOT heal. I have cut out all grains and still have them so this is my next step.

First, the soy sauce, I use coconut aminos. (they are great and I can’t tell the difference in a recipe) Do a google search for them and you will find them.

Second, chickens I think if you do a search on this website you will come up with an answer to that. Dr. O has answered that before (I think anyway). It was something about feeding them bugs I remember think ewwwww…LOL

    Best wishes,
