Testing for Food Sensitivities

Have you followed a TRUE Gluten Free diet and still find that something is keeping you from feeling your best?

Food sensitivities might be responsible.

You are unique, and while you may be consuming foods that are completely gluten and grain free, what is perfectly fine, even healthy, may not necessarily be good for YOU.

A healthy immune system serves two important roles in your body: defense and repair. It defends against various foreign invaders, such as environmental toxins, chemical residues from processed foods, viruses, germs, etc. Your immune system also helps your body repair after illness or injury.

A strong and resilient immune system means:

  • Your body repairs quickly from daily wear and tear
  • Your body fights illness more effectively
  • You’re energized, feel well, and sleep easier
  • You more easily and healthily digest, assimilate, and eliminate food.

Common foods can overstress your immune system, without you even knowing. Prolonged consumption of these foods can prevent you from feeling your best, and even lead to chronic conditions like chronic fatigue, migraines, excessive inflammation, and more.

Why LRA Testing for Food Sensitivity?

When challenged, there are two ways your immune system responds:

Type 1 – Immediate reactions: called acute allergies and usually occur within seconds to two hours after you are exposed to the allergen.

Type 2, 3, 4 – Delayed reactions: to an allergen can take two hours or up to three weeks after exposure, making them harder to detect.

Only LRA tests look directly at your live white cells (lymphocytes), observing them under a microscope as they are exposed to the 200+ common foods being tested. LRA blood tests provide an evaluation of the body’s delayed immune response; and only the foods that cause reactions are identified.

Our test measures all three types of Delayed Immune Reactions. Your report will identify non reactive, moderately reactive, and strongly reactive foods.

Where and How To Your Get Blood Drawn

If you are able to comply with the preparation instructions, the next step would be to find a location that can properly draw your blood. You will be provided with the test kit and it includes all of the materials needed for the phlebotomist.

Please keep in mind that a blood draw fee will likely be charged to you at the time of your draw. Every location charges a different amount, depending on the area and lab. We recommend that you ask for the cost prior to scheduling your appointment.

NOTE: Many phlebotomy labs will take care of shipping the specimen using the included prepaid UPS label and shipping envelope. If the lab does not provide that service, you can also call UPS directly and schedule it to be picked up from your home by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS.

Here are some labs options that you can utilize, but you are certainly not limited too:

Option 1 – Any Lab Test Now

Use the link to find the closest location by entering your zip code – https://www.anylabtestnow.com/locations/

Option 2 – CTs Phlebotomy Services, LLC (Traveling Phlebotomy)

Phone: (541) 890-0072 Fee: $50.00 + mileage ($0.45/mile)

Option 3 – Check with your local doctors office

If either of the above options are not available to you in your area, we recommend asking your local doctor for a phlebotomist or draw site referral.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT HAVE BLOOD DRAWN FRIDAY-SUNDAY. BLOOD DRAWS SHOULD ONLY BE SCHEDULED MONDAY-THURSDAY IN THE MORNING. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY APPOINTMENTS AFTER 12:30PM AS THAT DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SAME DAY PICK UP.

New York Disclaimer

If you are living in New York, you will not be able to perform this blood draw as the lab cannot accept any samples drawn within the New York state limits. Please do not order this test if you are located in the state of New York.
