Description

L-Carnitine – Designed to Support Energy & Muscle Health

Conditionally essential nutrient primarily obtained through meat consumption

L-Carnitine is an amino acid which is crucial for fatty acid transportation into cell mitochondria for energy production, cellular energy metabolism, and overall physiological functions. Research highlights that L-carnitine promotes fat utilization for energy, thereby enhancing metabolism and aiding in weight management. Additionally, it supports cardiovascular health and increasing aerobic capacity during exercise.

The highest concentrations are found in the Heart, Liver, and Kidney. This nutrient is considered to be “conditionally essential” in premature babies, elderly, and individuals with diabetes. Primary food sources include animal meats (such as (Beef, Pork, Poultry, Fish) so it is important to note that individuals following vegan/vegetarian diets are at increased risk of deficiency.

I really like this product. I had been taking Acetyl L-Carnitine for quite a while (10+ years), but my Nutritional Deficiencies Test indicated I was borderline low in L-Carnitine. I noticed a difference right away (more energy) when I started taking this product. I’ve been taking 1000 mg daily. (I tried searching for this product elsewhere to save a little money but had trouble finding the non-Acetyl version without hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in the ingredient list. (HPMC is defined as a “synthetic, inert, viscoelastic polymer”.) Knowing that Osborne’s product is free of synthetics and is gluten-free made the decision easy.
