Ingredients

  • 1 package Warrior Bread mix
  • 1 cup egg whites
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Add the warrior bread mix to a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the water, egg whites, and vinegar.
  • Pour the liquids into the bread mix and stir well to combine. Knead for about a minute, then allow to rest for a few minutes.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Form the dough into a log and put it into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for about 1 hour until cooked through.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool, and cut into slices.
  • In a large deep platter or baking dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Put the slices of bread into the egg mixture and allow to soak for about 10 minutes. Flip and repeat.
  • Heat a nonstick pan over medium - high heat with a little avocado oil or coconut oil. In batches, add the toast to the pan and cook about 3-5 minutes per side to brown and cook through. If you cut thick slices of the toast, be sure to cook them on all sides.
  • Remove from pan and continue until all the toast is done.
  • Serve with maple syrup.
