Ingredients
- 2 large apples, diced
- olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Coconut Sugar
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 2 cups Warrior Breadcrumbs (see recipe below)
- 1 tablespoon Italian herb seasoning
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 large boneless pork chops
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Put the apples in a frying pan with some oil, the coconut sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, and some salt. Add a splash of water, cover, and simmer for about a half hour until a simple apple sauce is formed.
- Mix the breadcrumbs in a large bowl and add in the herbs, onion powder, garlic powder, celery salt, and smoked paprika. Add another pinch of salt.
- Finally stir in the olive oil and use a spatula to make sure it is distributed evenly.
- One by one, take the pork chops and toss them in the breadcrumb mixture. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes (time depends on thickness of pork chops) until the internal temperature reaches 150. I like to flip them once in the middle of cooking for even browning.
- Remove from the oven, top with the apples, and serve.
