I feel like this website is turning into everyone’s opinion of what you should be eating and has lost it’s grain free status. I know there are reasons why we shouldn’t eat things and some of us are bothered by those things and some of us aren’t. I feel like every time someone posts on here lately they are being told how what they are eating they shouldn’t be. For instance one person asked for a list of snack foods for the day and he really had a good idea. It turned into a big discussion about what was on his list that shouldn’t be eaten. I would also like to see a list of what people eat for snacks I think that is a great idea. We must remember that we aren’t all able to eat the same things and this is a grain free site.
I make carob bars that are coconut oil, 1 cup almond meal 3 cups and 1 cup carob powder. I melt the coconut oil on the stove and than add the other ingredients. Variations include substituting coconut for part of the almond meal or adding a couple of drops of Peppermint oil to the mix. I also use to add 10 drops of stevia.
I make a shake.
I start with two cans of cold coconut milk.
I add 1 cup strawberries, raspberries or l TBSP carob
Blend in the blender.
I just thought this post needed a response. If people like these snack ideas I should possibly post them in the recipes.
