Here are some of our family favorites! Enjoy!!!

    Breakfast Sausage Patties

    ¼ cup water

    1 tsp sea salt

    2 tsp sage

    1 tsp pepper

    ½ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

    1/8 tsp ginger

    2 lbs. ground pork

    Mix water and spices.
Add pork and mix thoroughly (use your hands to mix).  Form patties and cook in skillet.

Spaghetti Sauce (great over cooked spaghetti squash)

3 Tbsp oil (olive or grapeseed)

    ½ cup onion, diced

    1-2 cloves garlic

    2 cups ground beef

    5-6 cups tomato sauce

    ¾ cup tomato paste

    1 tsp basil

    2 Tbsp parsley

    1 tsp salt

    ¼ tsp pepper

    1-2 tsp oregano

    1 bay leaf

Brown ground beef, onions, and garlic in oil.  Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and
spices.  Simmer for 20 minutes.  Remove bay leaf before serving.

    Leskovachka Muchkalica (pronounced Les-ko-vach-ka
    Mooch-ka-leet-sa – Serbian dish)

1 ½ pounds pork butt, cut into cubes

    1-2 Tbsp oil

2 medium onions, cut into chunks

3 bell peppers, cut into chunks

3 fresh tomatoes, cut into chunks

    1 Tbsp mustard

    1 clove garlic

    1 tsp paprika

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Brown meat, then set aside.
Cook onions in oil until tender.
Add bell peppers and cook until almost tender.  Add tomatoes and cook until all the juice
from the tomatoes cooks out.  Add the
meat and cook for about 15 minutes.  Add
mustard, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper to taste.

    Spicy Chicken Legs

    2 Tbsp oil

    2 tsp paprika

    1 tsp dried thyme

    1 tsp chili powder

    ½ tsp dried cumin

    ½ tsp garlic powder

    ½ tsp salt

    ½ tsp pepper

    ¼ tsp ground nutmeg

    6 chicken legs with thighs

Mix oil and spices to make marinade.  Pour (or brush) on chicken legs and marinate
in refrigerator about 30 minutes.  Grill
    or bake in oven (350).

    Two Alarm Chili

    2 lbs ground meat

8 oz can of tomato sauce

    2 cans water

    4 tsp onion flakes

    1 tsp crushed red pepper

    1 tsp salt

    1 tsp paprika

    1 tsp ground cumin

    6 Tbsp chili powder

    1 dash garlic powder

Brown meat and drain off grease.  Add the other ingredients and simmer for
20-30 minutes.  You may like it with less
chili powder – it is rather spicy (we use 4 tsp since my son doesn’t like it
very spicy).  You can also add beans.

Think I'll try the sausage with ground turkey, sounds good! Thanks!
