Pizza Crust (Makes one 10 inch crust)
1 1/2 cups blanched almond flour
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon grapeseed oil
1 large egg
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Set aside a large baking sheet. Cut 2 pieces
of parchment paper to the size of the baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, salt and baking soda. In a
medium bowl, whisk together the grapeseed oil and egg. Stir the wet ingredients
into the almond flour mixture until thoroughly combined.
Place the dough between the 2 sheets of parchment paper and roll into a 10 inch
circle, 1/8 inch thick. Remove the top piece of parchment paper and transfer the
bottom piece of parchment paper with the rolled out dough onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and add toppings

This is really good, my husband and I like it with grilled tomotoes (in place of sauce) then onions and basil with cheese. Very good! The other day, I made two batches of dough one was PERFECT the other one seemed off not sure what I did, so I made another batch and it came out good. Instead of throwing away the reject one, I added cinnamon and coconut sap (crystals) in place of sugar and it came out really good.March 15, 2014 at 2:34 pm #10369Peter OsborneKeymaster
