    I eat a strict gluten-free diet and I do eat a lot of eggs and meat. I buy pastured pork from a farmer that makes their own feed of corn, barley, and rye. Also, when it comes to chicken eggs, I have noticed that farmers feed the chickens grains as well no matter how organic they are and even some proudly avoid soy. I am wondering if the gluten that the pigs and chickens eat would affect me at all?

    Thanks for your post. I apologize for the delay in response. We are growing and re-organizing!

    We recommend eating pasture raised pork and free range chicken/eggs that have been fed with organic, non-GMO feed. The dangers of eating meat from the animals that have been fed non-organic GMO grains are the pesticides that are sprayed on the GMO grains. This includes glyphosate, which is the herbicide used in the pesticides. Glyphosate has been shown to severely damage your gut flora and cause chronic diseases. Another danger is the high level of omega-6 fatty acids in the non-organic GMO grain causing inflammatory effects in your body. Our main concern is not with a gluten inflammatory reaction, but with reactions due to the herbicide and inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids.
