Hello. I’m relatively new to this site. I am trying to figure out if my migraines are linked to gluten. Are there any other migraine sufferers out there that have gone gluten free? Just wondering what others experiences have been with gluten and migraine. Sometimes I can eat gluten and not have any migraine. Other times I eat gluten and get a migraine the next day or even days later so I am having trouble determining if it gluten is really the cause. I know that I definitely have other triggers such as hormonal influences. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Denise,

Yes migraines and gluten are definitely linked.  Go here >>>http://www.glutenfreesociety.org/are-migraine-headaches-caused-by-gluten/

I would strongly encourage you to get genetically tested for gluten sensitivity as well.  A definitive answer is typically necessary to justify the intense diet changes – http://www.glutenfreesociety.org/genetic-testing-for-gluten-sensitivity/

    All the best,

    Dr. OSmile
