I have a question for Dr. O about Maca and Noni. I have Hashimotos and am a few months into a grain free diet. I’m also 2 months into avoiding my ELISA allergens and supplementing with grain free supplements per the Spectracell test.
I still have symptoms of adrenal fatigue, mainly in the form of low hormone levels (i.e. DHEA among others) and lightheadedness. I’ve taken Maca powder and I like it but I don’t notice a huge difference.
My question is, could I still have systemic inflammation that is tiring my adrenals, and if so, could Noni Juice help? I’ve heard it is a strong anti-inflammatory.
I’d also like Dr. O’s thoughts on Maca. I have read that it only helps as long as you take it. I hate stuff like that cause it keeps you dependent on it.
