I had made some taco meat that I seasoned with: onion salt, garlic powder, chilli powder, cumin, red pepper flakes and sea salt. ( i just guessed on amounts)

I had this ahead in the fridge, so I used it for these two dishes:

In a frying pan I sauteed, onion, green pepper, grape tomatoes cut in half and added desired amount of taco meat. (I have added some wild rice at this point too) I then cut up some black olives on top and served. I really liked it. You could put it on lettuce if you wish too. I don't eat dairy, but if you do you could add some cheese.

    Breakfast taco eggs:

I sauteed: onion, green peppers, taco meat and wild rice, then scrambled in some eggs and it was a really good breakfast!

yum – but I think Dr. O would advise us to leave out the rice!

Wild rice isn't a grain though, it's considered a grass, so actually it's safe because it contains no gluten. Wink  We do enjoy it on occasion with this type of meal, sometimes with salmon, or with stir-fry.
