I've seen various comments on the site about the need to cook wild rice longer to soften it and so it tastes more like brown rice. Does anyone know how long to cook it and what the measurements are regarding rice to liquid. Thank you.
I honestly don't worry about the measurements I just boil it like macaroni until it is soft enough and then drain it. I have way more water than rice. This worked the best for me. I have also done it in the crock pot, I think I may have written on here in the recipes how long I cooked it for.
