If you have had the DNA testing and you have the genes for gluten, how important is it to be tested for celiac?
Hi Jennifer,
Not important at all. The only treatment for gluten sensitivity and for celiac disease is a gluten free diet. If the outcome of a test does not change the nature of treatment, it is not worth doing.
All the best,
Dr. O
