Hello I’m Virginia, I have Lyme Disease and my Family and I all tested positive for Gluten. I’ve been battling with Lyme Disease for almost 3 years now. In the healing process, I’ve tried a few different diets, including the mainstream gluten-free diet. My 1 year old daughter started developing eczema when she was 3 weeks old, with severe itching. Almost everything for her is a trigger. Thankfully we figured out that gluten played a big role in her triggers. Yet even now that we’re True gluten free, her itching hasn’t subsided. I’m in the process of getting myself and her food allergy tested, hopefully that well shed some more light on what the cause might be. I have so many questions about the gluten test results from Dr. Osborne, and what exactly they mean. Does it mean we have the genes for gluten sensitivity, or that are gluten sensitive, and how do we know if we have celiac disease and not just the alleles for it?
This journey has been hard on our family, we’re sacrificing a lot financially to make this new diet and lifestyle work. I pray that we can continue to do so.
