My name is Audra. I just found out 2 days ago that I had a high sensitivity to Gluten and Wheat. I didn’t realize that the stuff I was eating was causing my Eczema to flair up. I was also getting tired quite a bit and just not feeling right.
My problems began last March. I’ve always had Eczema but it never affected my hands. For awhile, I thought my dog was causing it but that wasn’t the case. So, my adventure with going back and forth to my family doctor began. I was given steroidal creams and other ointments were suggested. I was even given Predisone on 2 occasions but that was temporary. I was eventually referred to a Dermatologist. They did a lab test and found out that I had Eczema. I was just too done.
I went to an Integrative Medical Clinic, ran some tests on me and pretty much got to the root of my problem. While they were waiting on my test results, I was put on a Gluten free, Wheat free, Soy free and Dairy free diet. I also couldn’t have anything with corn it or white potato. I did start feeling alot better and now by skin is starting to clear up.
I am sorry that I am being so long winded but I wanted to share my story. Since I’m just starting a Gluten free lifestyle, I want to find out all I can about it. I am glad I found this website.
