    Hello everyone,

My name is Diane, I am 51 and was diagnosed with Chronic Sarcoidosis in 2001 was on Prednisone for 7 years and was lucky enough to start working for a Functional Medicine Physician in 2006.  I could not get off the prednisone until I took a Gluten, caisen test and added on the genetic testing.  I was not Celiac at that time but have Gluten and Caisen Sensitivity.  I was able to get off prednisone 6 months after removing what I thought was all Gluten from my diet and most dairy.  I was also in remission from Sarcoid.  Just about 6 months ago my Auto Immune started up again and I have been having acute flare ups.  I am hoping to get more educated about other glutens and how this may be sabotaging my health.  I am so happy to belong to this educational site and look forward to meeting and sharing with members.

Welcome Diane!  Thanks for sharing your story.  Which functional medicine doctor did you work for?
