If you have 4 alleles for gluten intolerance is it worse than having 1? Do you get different symptoms depending on which alleles you have? If you have 4 what is the liklihood that your children do not have it?

    Diana,
Certain alleles are more associated with gut dysfunction, some with neurological disease. These associations are based on some research. Clinically speaking, I don’t see this to always be the case. If you have 4 alleles, all of your children have at least two. That means no gluten for them.

Okay, I am off to be a favorite or least favorite Mom whatever the cost. I mean that I may be perceived as the least favorite Mom, but I need to do what is right to the best of my ability. If I can spare them from what I have been through = real blessing would come of it.
