I am new to this so bare with me. I was wondering if there are any other Celiacs' or gluten sensitives that have gotten a straight answer about dairy. Is it a seperate issue all together??? Or does it become digestable once some healing has occured? I had sour cream the other night and like to have just about died for more than 24 hours. I could hardly get off the couch! I don't have the same problem with all dairy…but I have noticed a difference in my moods when I have it! Any insight?
I have been told that if the cows are pasture fed (NO grains) the milk is better. Also, I have read that raw, pasture fed dairy is the best. Maybe Dr. O will chime in on this. I know in Michigan it is illegal to buy raw milk. There are ways to get it here, by leasing the cow, but it isn't easy to find these farms. Milk very much bothers me, but if I eat cheese it doesn't bother me so much. I try to eat it very very rarely.
