Hi. I heard recently that cruciferous vegetables like kale cause diminished thyroid function.

Since I've eaten kale every day of my life, this was of concern to me.

Does anyone have information on potemtially negative health effects of crucifierous vegetables?

    Thank you.

    Peter Osborne

Cruciferous vegetable effect on thyroid function is very overstated.  Unless you are eating massive quantities, I wouldn't be concerned.

    All the best,
