I wanted to add too, that any of the cookbooks for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet would have recipes suitable to completely gluten free.  They don't allow any grains (or other starches for that matter) in the diet.  It can be pretty heavy on the dairy, but there are quite a few recipes  without dairy as well.  I have several of the cookbooks.  There are also a few websites online with free recipes for this diet.

The cookbook is great.  I've tried the pie crust recipe.  It was perfect for my Chocolate Pudding pie.  So easy too.

I made the sandwhich bread.  It sliced up nice and I ate a turkey sandwhich!  It was the first sandwhich I'd had since diagnosed a few months ago.

Tonight, I am making the crackers.  I bought the sesame seeds today so I'm all set with ingredients.  I love hummus and crackers as a snack, so thank you for including a cracker recipe in the book.

Thank you Dr. and Mrs. O for the cookbook.  I'll let ya'll know about my successes as I try more recipes.

The sesame seeds crackers are really good from the cookbook.  This is the one cookbook I use all the time love it.  Dr. O will you be doing anymore in the future?

The Grain free mom has a pretty good Ebook (kindle) http://www.amazon.com/GRAIN-FREE-COOKING-ebook/dp/B00562SJ8C/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1308275996&sr=1-1

She also has a facebook page and a website. Elanaspantry is another good place to go for recipes. Oh and spunky coconut too. Google them all and you find them.

Thank you farmwife67 AKA Lori 🙂  I have a NOOK, so I don't think I can get the Ebook if it's a Kindle?

You can download a free ereader from amazon and read it on your computer, which I would recommend anyway, because then you can see it better.  I don't remember what that ereader is called, but I do know it is free. Good luck! She is going to come out with it in hard copy she said, but it is taking awhile to work the bugs out. (I think that is what she posted anyway)
