Anyone know of a good source for raw cashews that are safe (not CC). If so, I have a good recipe for using cashew butter. I make my own in the food processor. (I'd love a good source for all nuts, and legumes, and bulk stuff — know any good sources?)
Cashew or peanut butters used as a flour substitute works fairly well and the muffins/breads they make have good textures. They hold together well — better than tree-nut flour recipes. I'm not sure how to use them in substitution for flour in recipes, but I have a cashew bread recipe that I used to use as a bread substitute that I really liked. I'll post it in a little while — I have to go dig it out :).
