Is there a need for a calcium supplement in growing kids (for bone development etc)?  If so, what is the recommendation for younger kids (eg. age 2-6) that cannot swallow pills yet?  I know there's the liquid vit D, but what about actual calcium?  We try to make sure our kids get spinach, brocolli, bone broths; natural sources, but they're still not getting the RDA of calcium.  It seems all the gummies are full of sugar and dyes, junk they don't need.  Also, do you run the risk of too much calcium in a supplement?

    Thanks.

Good question, I would like to know the answer for adults too. I have wondered this for awhile now.
