Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds 85% lean grass fed ground beef
- salt and pepper
- avocado oil or other high heat oil
- 8 slices plant based American cheese
- 16 dill pickle slices
- 4 Warrior Bread buns (see recipe link below)
Instructions
- Preheat a frying pan or griddle pan to high heat.
- Split the meat into 8 equal parts and roll them into “meatball” shapes. Season the outside liberally with salt and pepper
- Depending on the size of your pan you will need to do this in batches. Add a little oil to the pan and then put the meatballs in. Cook about 2 minutes. Roll the meatballs over so the browned dot is on top and press with your spatula to make the burger as flat as you possibly can. Cook another 2 minutes.
- Flip the burgers and top each with a slice of cheese. Cover and cook 1 minute to help the cheese melt. Double up the patties right in the pan, then transfer the double stacks to the bottom burger bun.
- Top with pickles and any condiments of choice and serve.
