Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
Preheat a frying pan over high heat. Drizzle some oil into the pan. Add in the beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook over high heat, stirring often, until well browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat if needed.
Build the bowls starting with the romaine, then topping it with the ground beef, pickles, tomatoes, and onions. You could also add any of your favorite burger toppings at this point!
Drizzle with the special sauce and shake on some sesame seeds. Serve.
