Yeast Overgrowth – AKA Candida? What causes yeast overgrowth? Why won’t it go away? Two causes of candidiasis that often go overlooked are chronic stress and immune altering medications. How Does Stress and Medication Cause Candida?

For most, yeast overgrowth can be caused by several factors. Some of the causes include gluten, excessive carbs, and antibiotics.
In this video I discuss how stress can contribute to yeast overgrowth, but also have several types of medicines can cause immune suppression leading to an overgrowth of yeast, candidiasis, and health issues.

Some of the most common medications that contribute to yeast are:
1. Allergy medicines
2. Steroids
3. Immune suppressing medicines for autoimmune problems
4. Antibiotics – destroy healthy probiotics or gut flora, allowing for yeast to overgrow.
5. Antacids – block stomach acid allowing for yeast to overgrow.
