To build strong bone, you need resistance. Keep in mind that we define walking as “movement” but not resistance exercise. Walking is not going to increase your bone density to any degree.

Remember that bone follows Wolf’s Law – pressure on the bone makes it more dense. So if we are going to apply it to exercise, we need to focus on things that offer resistance. There are many resistance exercises that you can do that utilize only bodyweight or minimal equipment.
