I have read something, somewhere (it’s foggy) about a shift in thyroid levels when your body is adapting/adjusting to burning fat instead of sugar, something about ketones…..I remember it saying that this can give the false impression on bloodwork sometimes that there could be a thyroid problem but in actuality it’s not, you’re getting healthier. Hopefully I’m not getting that too mixed up, I don’t know for sure and I’m sorry I cannot quote the source. I have a few books and I’ll page through and try to find it again, if I can find it I’ll let you know, but I do know I read something like that. Maybe someone else can lend some more reliable info.
