I make granola buy mixing up dates in my food processor until they are like a paste and then I mix in any combination of nuts, seeds, coconut, flax meal you can even use dairy free chocolate chips if you can eat them with no problems.  This is a snack that curbs my appetite and satisfies for a long time.

I make the recipe below and use it with veggies or homemade crackers.  I have also left out the onions and added lemon juice and dill weed and it is really good too.
