Protein shakes are not recommended if you tolerate eating whole food well.  I typically reserve these powders for those who are severely ill and have a hard time processing food due to GI damage. 

When I do recommend a powder, I recommend Ultra Protein (from organic pea) vs. the dairy blends.  You can call my office 281-240-2229 and ask about it.
