Just found out that our brand of olives uses ferrous gluconate (mostly derived from corn?) to blacken the olives!  It's a big name brand, so who knows if they are importing the stuff from China, and if they are it is more than likely contaminated with wheat.  Corn and other grains and glutens are hiding EVERYWHERE!!!  It's very discouraging and frustrating to eat sometimes.
