Instructions
  1. After the Warrior Flatbread has cooled, chop into small crouton size pieces.
    Warrior croutons

  2. Bake on parchment paper lined baking sheet at 400 F for 15 min.

  3. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

  4. Chop ½ large yellow onion.

  5. Heat 2 tbsp butter, avocado oil, or olive oil in saucepan on medium heat.

  6. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.

  7. Add 1 cups or 3 stalks of sliced celery to pan.

  8. Cook for 5 more minutes, stirring frequently.

  9. Add salt and pepper to taste

  10. Add 1 clove of finely chopped garlic to the pan.

  11. Add ½ tsp dried sage and ½ tsp dried thyme to pan

  12. Reduce heat to low, and add 1 cup chicken stock or broth.

  13. After 5 minutes, turn heat to medium/medium high to bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

  14. Carefully add croutons and pan contents to a large heat-safe glass bowl.

  15. Mix until croutons have absorbed the liquid.

  16. Add 1 tbsp dried or fresh parsley

  17. Add 1 beaten egg and combine.

  18. Add to greased baking dish and bake for 35 minutes at 400 F.

Recipe Notes

You may also bake this for 1 hour at 300 F. Begin to check on the stuffing around 45 minutes if cooking at 300 F as cooking times may vary based on location and oven.
