  1. Happy birthday Dr Osborne. Thanks to dedicated people like you even those of us around the world, (Im in New Zealand), can learn so much and be kept in the loop with your advice and advances in gluten research. I know most of what you say from my 25 years of personal sufferring and experience but its good to be reminded of the awfulness it creates when I do every now and then relapse. Looking back I know I had a problem with dairy since babyhood and bread products in my 20s but after a major health meltdown in my late 30s early forties I was lucky to finally find a local doctor who was way ahead with his thinking on health and diagnoses and treatments and he set me on a path that got me well and made me totally aware of natural healing and health. Dr David Higgins was this pioneer who helped so many people and gave us our lives back. Unfortunately he died in his late 40s and left alot of bereft people and a huge hole in natural methods of health and healing. We have very few medical people here who think and practice like you and him so we struggle to find help when needed. I hope your clients and other practictioners like you are truly appreciated as you are a rare breed and so badly needed. If you ever want to emigrate to our beautiful country we would welcome you with open arms!! Thankyou for your work. May your birthday wishes come true.

  2. Dr Osborne, Happy Birthday!

Thank you for your courage to seek the truth and ring the alarm bell.
I am 1 week into the total gluten free diet and massive improvement – 3 kg down, brain fog is gone, fatigue is gone (although have bouts of fatigue some times due to withdrawal), Carpal tunnel is almost gone – last night I slept all night without my splints for the first time in 13 years!, sensivity is very slowly returning to both of my big toes, mood lifted and, most importantly, GERD seems to be diminishing!!!

I find your tutorials and lectures fantastic. They gave me courage to switch to the gluten free diet.

If you or anyone is able to answer, please tell me if there is a gluten link to bananas? I was in agony after having a slightly unripe banana.

God bless you and your family for everything you do!

  3. Happy belated birthday Dr. O. I plan sending this to my daughter. Great info. May God richly bless you as you continue to fight for us.

  4. CHECK your washing up liquid….I recently found out that Ecover dish washing liquid here in the U.K contains gluten (all except their Grapefruit one). I have always rinsed the dishes in clean water after using washing up liquid, but I know there are plenty of people who leave dishes to drain with all the suds still present…. Now I need to check the dishwasher (brand name Finish) liquid too…..

  5. Thank you for the article! Happy Birthday! I’m sorry, that I write it in the second place! And too late.
And I’m grainfree, glutenfree, no processed food,no junk food,no other dairy, than butter and cheese and natural yoghurt with the good bacteria. And I feel good! At last after years of stomach ulcus which was cured by antibiotics 12 years ago I’ve been free from pain but still never felt good in my digestive system. I’m feeling good now and there are good supplements to get in my country,Sweden. The “food situation” is also different and better than in the US.
Hm…I’m wondering for myself, how on earth could mankind survived so long – 5000-6000 thousand years – with eating grain products and then how long time it will take to be aware of the harmful impact of grain and grain proteins on human health! And then what will happen with this huge bread industry! Well, there are fantastic researches going on,the knowledge and evidences are growing and accumulate and soon have mainstream authoryties (FDA for ex) realize that bread (and other gluten sources) are not appropriate food and make changes in their opinion/the health advices to be general. But I’m aware of that you and the others on the front edge and we the early followers – and we are many people – must fight a hard battle until that.
    Greeting Gabriella

  6. Happy Birthday Dr. Osborne! So thankful for all your hard work, I thanks God for you!Watched lots of your videos, lifesaving info!

  7. I just finished reading the above, and think this gluten is exactly my problem.I have not felt good in years.Told I had Fibromyaliga 13 yrs ago, but that’s not my problem Dr.’s say. My dgtr. has found she is gluten intolerant and reworked her whole eating plan.

This is overwhelming to me, and I just don’t know where to start at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I need to start from square 1.
    Kay

  8. Glad to have come across your site quite by chance. Please include me in you list.
Many Happy Returns of your birthday!
I have had many, many episodes of anaphylaxis for over50 years. Also have been diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia….I now want to explore the possibility that the atrophy of my cerebellum was due to Gluten!! Of course, the atrophy is irreversible, but perhaps the symptoms, hopefully, will subside on a Gluten free regimen…..As hard as it is in today’s environment. Do keep up the good work.

  9. I am IGA deficient. This reacts with gluten. Even the veins to my heart were inflamed. Doing great now that I am gluten free. Thought this might help someone else.
