Gluten Free Society Presents…

A special report and in depth analysis of wheat germ agglutinin with Dr. Peter Osborne and Sayer Ji

Learn why gluten is not the only culprit in grain to create a problem with human health. Chemical compounds called lectins give wheat the ability to protect itself from predators (i.e. humans). A specific lectin known as wheat germ agglutinin – WGA is toxic to humans and contributes to mucle and joint pain as well as a host of other diseases…

More on WGA and Celiac Disease?

    Wheat. The forbidden fruit. Did you really believe that it was an apple?

    Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
    In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground;

    And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
    Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

    The Temptation of Christ; After fasting for forty days and forty nights Jesus was tempted by the serpent to turn stones to bread, he was Jesus, he certainly could have done so, but Jesus replied that man can not live by bread alone.

    Someone once told me that they wanted to loose weight. I told her it was easy, just don’t eat carbs and especially don’t eat bread. Bread is not good for you I said. They replied that was not possibly, because after all, Jesus said that he is the bread of life. I looked her in the eye and said “if Jesus is the bread of life, what does that make regular bread?” I look of horror came on her face and she could not continue the conversation.

    The story of Cain and Able, the first two children of Adam and Eve; Cain killed his own brother out of jealousy because God was happy with Able’s offering but not his own. Cain was a tiller of the field. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. God was not happy. Able was a keeper of sheep. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: This story is symbolic of the fall, agriculture winning out over the older ways of hunting, gathering and herding.

    At the last supper Jesus served bread and wine, symbolic of his body and blood. What was about to happen to him? Suffrage and death. The bread and wine are symbolic of his suffrage and death the following day. The Eucharist received at Sunday mass commemorates Jesus dying on the cross for our sins.

    Feeding of the multitude; This one is hard for people to understand. Many of the disciples were fishermen. They put down their nets to follow Jesus and Jesus said that he would make them fishers of men. The multitude were hungry. They had only a few loafs of bread and a few fish. They were on a boat when Jesus gave the disciples the bread, then the disciples to the people. They used the bread as bait and the fish as chum to net many baskets full of fish which they used to feed the people. The last time the story is told in the book of Mark it was meat that was left in the baskets after they were all full. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. If Jesus had fed them bread, why would he warn them about the leaven of the Pharisees right after feeding them. And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod. Still the temptation of bread was as great then as it is now. As they prepared to depart on the ship once again the disciples were reluctant to board because they only had one loaf of bread. This is the best part of all. Jesus replied, And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
    Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
    When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.
    And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
    They were fisherman, What baskets do you suppose they took up from where?
    And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
    Some things never change.

    Here is a good verse from Romans 14;
    Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
    For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
    Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

    It is hard to find a positive connotation for bread in the bible;
    Bread of Sorrows.
    Bread of Tears,
    Bread of Affliction.
    I could go on.

    Did Jesus himself ever eat bread? Not that I can find. He never served it to others without blessing it first, knowing that we would all inevitably wind up in the kingdom of god. It was better to eat bread than to starve and some consider bread to be starvation food.

    What did Jesus eat? In the book of Luke, chapter 24, The Resurrection of Christ, shortly after he had risen from the dead, Jesus asked, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
    And he took it, and did eat before them.
    (Symbolic of life and rebirth)
    And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
    Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
    The prophecies of the Old Testament are Revealed in the New Testament.

    Myself, I like to eat meat. Perhaps my favorite biblical passage of all follows. From 1 Timothy 4;

    Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
    Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
    Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
    For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
    Funny thing is, this all seems to be proven true from my ten years of scientific and internet anecdotal nutritional research.

    So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

    I have passed through the flaming sword and returned to the way of the tree of life.

  4. Bread and the Bible, the Way I See It.

    Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
    In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground;

    The truth often hides in plain sight as if it were invisible.

    The Temptation of Christ; After fasting for forty days and forty nights Jesus was tempted by the devil to turn stones into bread, he was Jesus, he certainly could have done so if he wanted to, he must have been hungry, but Jesus replied that man can not live by bread alone.
    Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

    Someone once told me that they wanted to loose weight. I told her it was easy, just don’t eat processed carbohydrates and especially don’t eat bread. “Bread is not good for you”, I said. She replied, “that was not possibly, because after all, Jesus said that he is the bread of life.” I looked her in the eye and said, “Tell me, if Jesus is the bread of life, what does that make regular bread?” A look of horror came on her face and she could not continue the conversation.

Cain was a tiller of the field and he offered up to God the fruit of his labor. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. God was not happy at all! Able was a keeper of sheep, he offered up to God the finest of his flock and the fat thereof. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: Cain was so jealous that God preferred his brothers offering over his own, that he killed his own brother because of it. This story is symbolic our fall from grace, agriculture winning out over the older ways of hunting, gathering and herding.

    The first definition of the word “Fruit” from the Merriam-Webster dictionary:
    Definition of fruit (Entry 1 of 2)
    1a: a product of plant growth (such as grain, vegetables, or cotton)
    the fruits of the field.
    Of course it can also mean an apple or an orange.

    At the last supper Jesus served bread and wine, symbolic of his body and blood. “And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.” And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. What was about to happen to him? Suffrage and death. The bread and wine are symbolic of his suffrage the following day, his blood to be spilled and his body put to death. The wheaten Eucharist received at Sunday mass commemorates Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. The disciples who were supposed to protect Jesus from the Roman guards that night, partook of the bread and wine, fell asleep because of their consumption, allowing the Roman guards to apprehend Jesus.
    Not much good comes from the consumption of bread.

    Feeding of the multitude; This one is hard for people to understand. Many of the disciples were fishermen. They put down their nets to follow Jesus and Jesus said that he would make them fishers of men. And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
    And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
    The multitude were hungry. They had only a few loafs of bread and a few fish. How would they feed so many people? They were on a boat when Jesus gave the disciples the bread, then the disciples to the people. The disciples used the bread as bait and the fish as chum to net many, many baskets full of fish, which they used to feed the people. They were fisherman after all. Miraculous! The last time the story is told in the book of Mark, it was meat, not bread that was left in the baskets after their stomachs were all full. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. If Jesus had fed them bread, why would he warn them about the leaven of the Pharisees right after feeding them? And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod. Still the temptation of bread was as great then as it is now.     Another favorite, from Acts 10;

    On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

    Funny thing is, this all seems to be proven true from my ten years of scientific and internet anecdotal nutritional research.

    So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
