This sounded kind of good.  You would have to have real lean meat or ground turkey.

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1/2 cup nut flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt (I don't use that much)
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Mix together and spread in pie plate or pizza pan. (might be greasy) Then top with all of your favorite pizza toppings and bake uncovered at 425 deg. for 20 min.

I made this, but I just used the meat, (was out of almond flour).  It was FANTASTIC, I wasn't sure if I would love it or not, but I really did!  It so took care of the pizza craving I have been having.  I actually think I like it better than regular crust.  Next time, I definitely will try the nut flour though. (see what that tastes like)LaughLaugh

Love it when I find something so satisfying!!!!

Any good suggestions on a dairy free version of cheese for the pizza?

This recipe sounds good!  What do you mean it's greasy?

Do you think it would work with either tapioca, coconut or potato flour?

The best vegan cheese I've found is Daiya.

I think it would work well with coconut or tapioca.  It is greasy depending on the type of meat(s) you use.

    The recipe is fantastic!Smile
